View from Window

View from Window, Ink on notepad, 6.23.09

I drew this from my window at work. I started with a sharpie because that was what I had sitting next to me, but I did not like how thick the lines were and how you could not obtain any details. I was pleasantly surprised to find out I had a micron pen with me, so I was able to finish it out with that. I would love to add some color.

  2. Bet you will make sure you have a micron pen with you at all times after this! Great sketch.
if your employer sees your post you will have to explain to him how drawing for a few minutes is similar to a meditaion and that it returns to to work with your concentration enhanced.

  3. Beautiful sketch! It seems like a lot is going on there, constructions and stuff. I just hope the don't make too much noise that'd interfere with your work.

  4. Since I am a graphic designer sketching fits right in. I am using it as brainstorming time :) And you are right about the micron pen!
